Why join a Trackside Focus® workshop?

Why Investing In Personal Development & Learning Matters?

Your brain didn’t come with a lifetime warranty. In today’s world, staying still means falling behind, and personal development is the key to keeping you sharp, adaptable, and ahead of the curve. Investing in learning isn’t just about adding more acronyms to your résumé—it’s about unlocking fresh ideas, building confidence, and turning challenges into opportunities (instead of stress headaches). The sooner you start, the bigger the payoff. And unlike that treadmill in your garage, this is one investment you’ll actually use.

In motorsport, the cars aren’t the only things moving fast - the opportunities are, too. Investing in your photography skills through a dedicated workshop means you’re not just snapping pictures, you’re capturing split-second stories that will help you grow and set you apart from the competition. You’ll learn techniques you can’t get from YouTube tutorials, gain insider tips from pros who have ‘been there, done that’ and build confidence to go from strength to strength in the highly competitive world of motorsport photography.

In short: upgrade yourself, because standing still is the fastest way to get left behind.

Shoot the GT Winter Series as a Media Accredited Photographer

Apply today and join us for an incredible winter motorsport photography training opportunity at Circuito Estoril in Portugal. This exclusive workshop and training provides you with full media accreditation, giving you the kind of access usually reserved for professional photographers. Get up close to the action at this thrilling GT racing series - from the intensity of the pit lane to exclusive trackside vantage points that are off-limits to the general public.

Throughout this motorsport photography training and workshop, you’ll be thrown straight into the action - trackside, in the pit lane, and roaming the paddock like you’ve got an all-access pass to the media side of the fence (oh wait, you do!). Expect roaring speed, unfiltered emotion, and the kind of full-throttle drama that makes your camera work harder than it ever has before - all captured from a pro motorsport photographer’s front-row perspective.

  • This isn’t your average workshop, this is the ultimate career accelerator and training platform for motorsport photographers.

Kick off 2026 by discovering exactly what it takes to shoot motorsport like a fully accredited pro. This is your opportunity to get behind the barriers, media pass in hand, and join a top motorsport photographer trackside.

Think of all those motorsport shots you've seen across social media that are so damn good, they make you super frustrated. The ones with perfect panning, razor-sharp focus, and a sense of speed you can practically feel. Oh yeah, by the way - those weren't taken by accident.

Why ease into 2026 when you could launch it trackside, shooting motorsport like you’ve just joined the accredited inner circle? This is your golden ticket: a media pass in your pocket and a top motorsport photographer by your side as you dive headfirst into shooting the GT Winter Series.

This isn’t your average “fan with a camera” access. This workshop hands you full-blown media accreditation, throwing open the gates to the pit lane, paddock, and trackside spots where the real magic happens (and where the pros actually stand). With this kind of access, you’re not just taking photos, you’re building a portfolio that screams I belong here.

So if the idea of shooting like a professional makes your shutter finger twitch, stop watching from the grandstands and start 2026 where you should be: in the thick of it, creating the kind of images that turn heads and drop jaws.

Plus, join a close-knit community of motorsport photographers. Our workshops are as much about connection and conversation as they are about capturing action - expect plenty of fun, social time, and lively chats about everything motorsport and photography.

  • Learn what it takes to work as an accredited motorsport photographer. Shoot like a pro and enjoy full media accreditation on this workshop, allowing you to get up close to the heart-pounding action - from the adrenaline-fuelled drama of the pit lane to the exhilarating moments on track. Every perspective from the pit lane, team garages, access to prime trackside locations is yours to explore, experience and capture. Plus enjoy access to the media centre for editing sessions.

  • Sure, you could keep snapping blurry cars and calling it “art,” but why not actually master the fundamentals of motorsport photography instead?

Once you’ve nailed the basics, we’ll crank it up a notch with advanced techniques that push your creativity harder than a driver on fresh tyres.

You’ll learn how to craft images that don’t just show the race, but tell a story - the kind that actually makes people stop, stare, and maybe even ask, “Wait, did you take that?”

With professional motorsport photography coaching, you’ll fine-tune your style, sharpen your skills, and walk away with a portfolio so slick it’ll make your past work look like it was shot on a disposable camera.

This isn’t just a boost for your motorsport photography journey - it’s the turbo upgrade you’ve always dreamed about.

  • Turn your passion into a career by learning the business side of motorsport photography. Discover how to attract clients, build lasting relationships, and navigate the world of agencies and media outlets. Gain insider knowledge on licensing, contracts, and professional etiquette while learning how to network effectively within the motorsport industry—so your trackside shots don’t just impress, they pay.

  • We know you're busy, but we're not just going to throw you into the deep end in Portugal. This workshop starts with a pre-trip online session. Consider this your warm-up laps before the main event.

And we don't just abandon you once the checkered flag waves. After the trip, we'll have a post-workshop editing and review session. This is where we make sure you get the most out of your shots, giving you more feedback and showing you how to turn those raw files into something truly spectacular.

Media Accreditation

Apply today to step into the world of professional motorsport photography with a coveted all-access media pass, provided exclusively for this workshop. This unparalleled opportunity offers you a perspective usually reserved for professional media or industry insiders.

With your media pass, you’ll enjoy:

Pit Lane Access: Get up close to the cars, teams, and drivers, capturing the intensity of pit stops and the full drama of the race weekend.

Press Room Privileges: Work from the press room / media centre, where you’ll have a dedicated space to review your shots and soak up the energy of the professional media environment.

Designated Trackside Areas: Take advantage of prime locations around the circuit, giving you unparalleled opportunities to shoot the action from a unique and privileged perspective.

Your journey begins with comprehensive preparation. During your first photography session you’ll receive 1-2-1 training on pit lane safety protocols and the critical do’s and don’ts of working trackside. Learn the requirements and etiquette that ensure not only your safety but also your professionalism as you navigate the exhilarating environment of working as accredited media.

  • To attend this motorsport photography workshop, you will require public liability insurance with a minimum coverage of £5 million. This ensures your safety and compliance with trackside regulations in Europe.

Motorsport Photography Coaching:

Benefit from world-class and industry-leading motorsport photography coaching and tuition, guided by seasoned motorsport photographer James Roberts.

You’ll master dynamic composition, handle shifting light like it’s no big deal, and dial in your settings so perfectly your camera might as well thank you. From nailing motion blur to panning like a boss, you’ll be guided through advanced techniques with personalised coaching that sharpens your timing, precision, and framing - so every shot doesn’t just “look nice,” it slaps.

But that’s just the start. You’ll also get the insider knowledge that separates the fans from the accredited pros: how to navigate track layouts like you built them yourself, which corners deliver the drama, and exactly where to stand to make your shots scream power and adrenaline.

And when the engines cool? You’ll dive into editing sessions that take your raw shots and turn them into portfolio gold - the kind of images that don’t just get likes, but get noticed.

This isn’t just a photography workshop. It’s an exclusive pass to the high-octane world of motorsport photography, putting you front and centre where the action happens - while giving you the kind of real-world portfolio and insider experience that can fast-track your career.

What Our Clients Say:

  • "I attended the 24H of Barcelona workshop with Trackside Focus (formerly The Photographic Adventure Company) in September of 2024 and it was amazing. Both Greg and Mike were incredibly insightful and helpful. Everything once we landed in Barcelona was flawless (even recovering my phone that I left in the taxi). The access, insight and tuition were excellent, and I highly recommend booking a trip with Greg and the team, I cannot give enough credit to the excellent product that they have put together."

Isaac - 24H Barcelona Motorsport Photography Workshop 2024

  • "I booked it, loved it and kept working on being a motorsport photographer! Worth the time and money if you love cars like I do. Greg, the owner - extremely nice guy and extremely passionate about his business. He was very detailed oriented and kept making sure I was doing good during the whole trip. He honestly was more of a friend than the owner of the business to us."

Tak - 24H Dubai Motorsport Photography Workshop 2025

  • "I attended the British GT holiday at Brands Hatch and had a brilliant time. The Photographic Adventure Company (TPAC) managed the event brilliantly and saw to it that all the guests could maximise their experience. The photographic instruction was excellent and I was able to learn loads with two days access to a professional motorsport photographer. It's difficult to quantify these things sometimes, but the holiday was definitely worth the price. I had a great time."

Chris - British GT Motorsport Photography Workshop 2024

  • "Absolutely amazing trip, enjoyed every second. Greg and Mike were fantastic, and the other guys in the group were friendly and knowledgeable. I cant recommend going on a tour highly enough. Trust in these kinds of services is paramount and Greg and the team pulled out all the stops. Don't think about it, just book it."

Chris - 24H Barcelona Motorsport Photography Workshop 2024

  • "Having only been to a live motorsport race once and this being the first time trying to capture some images, going with The Photographic Adventure Company was the best decision! As everything from the communication before, during and after were great from Greg and Dan. The British GT weekend working with Dan was just amazing his knowledge and encouragement was just what i needed, as its easy to try and capture the same type of images as everyone else but Dan was a great help on suggesting classic motorsport shots but also making sure you as a photographer put your own style and trust your eye to capture what you see. I'll be definitely looking to do more in the future!"
