Why Investing In Personal Development & Learning Matters?
Your brain didn’t come with a lifetime warranty. In today’s world, staying still means falling behind, and personal development is the key to keeping you sharp, adaptable, and ahead of the curve. Investing in learning isn’t just about adding more acronyms to your résumé—it’s about unlocking fresh ideas, building confidence, and turning challenges into opportunities (instead of stress headaches). The sooner you start, the bigger the payoff. And unlike that treadmill in your garage, this is one investment you’ll actually use.
In motorsport, the cars aren’t the only things moving fast - the opportunities are, too. Investing in your photography skills through a dedicated workshop means you’re not just snapping pictures, you’re capturing split-second stories that will help you grow and set you apart from the competition. You’ll learn techniques you can’t get from YouTube tutorials, gain insider tips from pros who have ‘been there, done that’ and build confidence to go from strength to strength in the highly competitive world of motorsport photography.
In short: upgrade yourself, because standing still is the fastest way to get left behind.

You will also leave with a portfolio strong enough to support your professional growth.
Throughout the workshop, you will be fully immersed in the live environment of the Spa Six Hours - trackside, in the pit lane, and throughout the paddock, moving and working as part of the accredited media.

If you’re already producing solid work and looking to really boost your motorsport imagery to a professional standard, this is where you make that leap.
We move well beyond entry-level fundamentals. Instead, you’ll refine high-precision techniques that challenge your timing, your creative instincts, and your ability to read and anticipate race dynamics.
You’ll develop images that do more than freeze motion; they convey narrative, atmosphere, and intent. Photographs that cut through the noise, command attention, and position you as someone who understands the craft at a professional level.
With targeted coaching designed for semi-pro and advanced photographers, you will fine-tune your visual style, enhance your technical execution, and build a portfolio polished enough to compete in the professional arena.
This isn’t a step forward - it’s the performance upgrade that moves your motorsport photography into a different category entirely.
-
Turn your passion into a career by learning the business side of motorsport photography - knowing how to use your camera is just the start. Discover how to attract clients, build lasting relationships, and navigate the world of agencies and media outlets. Gain insider knowledge on licensing, contracts, and professional etiquette while learning how to network effectively within the motorsport industry - so your trackside shots don’t just impress, they pay.
-
Have your images published in The Pit Stop Magazine, one of the industry's leading motorsport publications.
You’ll be part of an exclusive 8-page feature, officially earning the title of “published motorsport photographer.” Not only does it look impressive on the wall, it might even help you land future gigs or even media passes (psst - it’s happened to our previous workshop clients). You need to be published to even begin applying for media accreditation. Plus, who doesn’t want to brag a little?
-
We know you're busy, but we're not just going to throw you into the deep end in Belgium. This workshop starts with a pre-trip online session. Consider this your warm-up lap before the main event.
And we don't just abandon you once the checkered flag waves. After the trip, we'll have a post-workshop editing and review session. This is where we make sure you get the most out of your images, giving you more feedback and showing you how to turn those raw files into something truly spectacular.
Media Accreditation

Your journey begins with comprehensive preparation. During your first photography session you’ll receive 1-2-1 training on pit lane safety protocols and the critical do’s and don’ts of working trackside. Learn the requirements and etiquette that ensure not only your safety but also your professionalism as you navigate the exhilarating environment of working as accredited media.

Motorsport Photography Coaching:
You’ll refine dynamic composition with intention, manage rapidly changing light with confidence, and dial in technical settings with the precision required for professional output. From controlled motion blur to disciplined, high-speed panning, you’ll work through advanced techniques supported by focused coaching that sharpens your timing, accuracy, and visual discipline - so every frame moves beyond “good” and into truly competitive territory.
And that’s only the beginning. You’ll gain the operational knowledge that distinguishes amateur photographers from accredited professionals: how to interpret a circuit’s flow, identify corners that deliver peak energy and narrative value, and position yourself intelligently to capture images that project speed, drama and atmosphere.
Once the track goes quiet, you will transition into in-depth editing sessions that transform your raw captures into polished, portfolio-ready work - images capable of attracting clients, editors, and credentialing bodies.
This is not a standard motorsport photography course. It is a gateway into the professional environment of motorsport photography, placing you at the heart of the action while equipping you with the practical expertise, field experience, knowledge and high-level portfolio assets necessary to advance your career trajectory.

Workshop Leaders
-
Michal is a UK-based, award-winning photographer from Czechia with a deep passion for motorsport. He began exploring photography in 2016 and discovered his calling two years later at the race track.
Seeing photography as the ultimate way to be part of motorsport, he honed his craft tirelessly, developing a bold and creative style that caught the attention of Digital Camera World magazine, which featured him in 2021. His big break came when Goodwood Road and Racing invited him to join their team of official photographers, where he covered major events like the Festival of Speed and Revival over three seasons. Now freelancing for GT-REPORT, Michal continues to shoot world-class events such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans, WEC 6 hours of Spa, GTWC Europe and many historic sports car festivals. At these events, Michal had the privilege to work for some successful teams and drivers, Andre Lotterer, David Brabham and Karun Chandhok, to name but a few.
Michal is always pushing himself creatively on and off track to capture the essence of racing, the feeling of speed and emotions in every photo. Thanks to his hard work and dedication, he has won the International Photo Awards in both amateur and professional categories, and has been nominated three times for the British Photo Awards and was twice a finalist in the World Sport Photography Awards.
