Why Join A Trackside Focus® Workshop?

Why Investing In Personal Development & Learning Matters?

Your brain didn’t come with a lifetime warranty. In today’s world, staying still means falling behind, and personal development is the key to keeping you sharp, adaptable, and ahead of the curve. Investing in learning isn’t just about adding more acronyms to your résumé—it’s about unlocking fresh ideas, building confidence, and turning challenges into opportunities (instead of stress headaches). The sooner you start, the bigger the payoff. And unlike that treadmill in your garage, this is one investment you’ll actually use.

In motorsport, the cars aren’t the only things moving fast - the opportunities are, too. Investing in your photography skills through a dedicated workshop means you’re not just snapping pictures, you’re capturing split-second stories that will help you grow and set you apart from the competition. You’ll learn techniques you can’t get from YouTube tutorials, gain insider tips from pros who have ‘been there, done that’ and build confidence to go from strength to strength in the highly competitive world of motorsport photography.

In short: upgrade yourself, because standing still is the fastest way to get left behind.

Capture the 12H Paul Ricard with Full Media Access.

Join us for an exclusive motorsport photography workshop and training opportunity at the 12H Paul Ricard in 2026. We’re talking full-blown media accreditation - the kind that gets you trackside, in the pit lane, and practically close enough to smell the burning rubber.

This isn’t your average workshop, this is the ultimate career accelerator and training platform for aspiring professional motorsport photographers. You’ll refine your motorsport photography skills, learn how to shoot with a media pass, where and when to shoot, how the business of motorsport photography works, how to obtain clients, future media accreditation and so much more. Plus you’ll leave with a portfolio so good you’ll have content for the next five years!

Not everyone gets an opportunity like this, so make sure you don’t miss out!

  • Launch Your Motorsport Photography Career Trackside

This isn’t your average workshop, this is the ultimate career accelerator and training platform for motorsport photographers.

So, you want to know what it really takes to shoot motorsport like a fully accredited pro? Spoiler: it’s not standing behind the fences with your zoom lens.

This is your chance to step past the barriers, slap on a media bib, and join a top motorsport photographer right where the action actually happens — trackside.

Now it’s your turn. With a media pass and a pro by your side, you’ll be shooting the 12H Paul Ricard like you’ve just been inducted into motorsport’s inner circle. Pit lane, paddock, prime trackside spots.

This isn’t “fan with a camera” territory. This is the big leagues. This is the kind of access that doesn’t just give you killer photos - it gives you a portfolio that screams: I belong here.

Plus, join a close-knit community of motorsport photographers. Our workshops are as much about connection and conversation as they are about capturing action - expect plenty of fun, social time, and lively chats about everything motorsport and photography.

  • With full media accreditation, you’ll be shooting like a pro - up close and personal with the heart-pounding chaos of the pit lane, the behind-the-scenes buzz of team garages, and the best trackside spots where the action practically explodes right in front of you.

Every angle, every perspective, every adrenaline-soaked moment? Yours for the taking. And when it’s time to cool off, you’ll have access to the media centre - aka where the pros’ hangout - for editing, refuelling, and swapping “did you see that?!” moments.

    This isn’t just access. It’s all-access.

  • Master the fundamentals of motorsport photography, then push your creative boundaries further with advanced techniques like panning and motion blur. Develop the skills to craft powerful visual narratives that leave an impact. With expert coaching alongside editing guidance, you'll refine your style and take your images to the next level, leaving with a stunning portfolio to help give your motorsport photography journey a major boost.

  • Turn your passion into a career by learning the business side of motorsport photography. Discover how to attract clients, build lasting relationships, and navigate the world of agencies and media outlets. Gain insider knowledge on licensing, contracts, and professional etiquette while learning how to network effectively within the motorsport industry—so your trackside shots don’t just impress, they pay.

  • We know you're busy, but we're not just going to throw you into the deep end. This workshop starts with a pre-trip online session. Consider this your warm-up lap before the main event.

And we don't just abandon you once the checkered flag waves. After the trip, we'll have a post-workshop editing and review session. This is where we make sure you get the most out of your shots, giving you more feedback and showing you how to turn those raw files into something truly spectacular.

Workshop Leaders

  • Michal is a UK-based, award-winning photographer from Czechia with a deep passion for motorsport. He began exploring photography in 2016 and discovered his calling two years later at the race track.

Seeing photography as the ultimate way to be part of motorsport, he honed his craft tirelessly, developing a bold and creative style that caught the attention of Digital Camera World magazine, which featured him in 2021. His big break came when Goodwood Road and Racing invited him to join their team of official photographers, where he covered major events like the Festival of Speed and Revival over three seasons. Now freelancing for GT-REPORT, Michal continues to shoot world-class events such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans, WEC 6 hours of Spa, GTWC Europe and many historic sports car festivals. At these events, Michal had the privilege to work for some successful teams and drivers, Andre Lotterer, David Brabham and Karun Chandhok, to name but a few.

Michal is always pushing himself creatively on and off track to capture the essence of racing, the feeling of speed and emotions in every photo. Thanks to his hard work and dedication, he has won the International Photo Awards in both amateur and professional categories, and has been nominated three times for the British Photo Awards and was twice a finalist in the World Sport Photography Awards.

  • FOUNDER & CEO

Greg, the founder and managing director of Trackside Focus and The Photographic Adventure Company Ltd, has been immersed in the world of photography since 2016.

From 2016 to 2023, Greg honed his craft as a professional photographer, working across diverse genres such as motorsport, events and school photography. During this period, he also gained valuable experience in roles with some of the UK’s leading photography companies, including Wex Photo Video.

Drawing on his extensive industry expertise and a growing network of connections, Greg established The Photographic Adventure Company Ltd in 2023 and later re-branded to Trackside Focus to concentrate exclusively on offering world-leading motorsport photography workshops, training and events, alongside building a global community of motorsport photographers.

The company is fuelled by Greg’s deep passion for motorsport, travel, and photography. Greg is deeply passionate about championing amateur and aspiring motorsport photographers. One of the driving forces behind launching Trackside Focus was his commitment to supporting, encouraging, and promoting amateur photographers and helping those photographers on their journey in motorsport photography.

As a dedicated motorsport fan and photographer himself, Greg understands firsthand the challenges of breaking into the industry.

What Our Clients Say:

  • "I attended the 24H of Barcelona workshop with Trackside Focus (formerly The Photographic Adventure Company) in September of 2024 and it was amazing. Both Greg and Mike were incredibly insightful and helpful. Everything once we landed in Barcelona was flawless (even recovering my phone that I left in the taxi). The access, insight and tuition were excellent, and I highly recommend booking a trip with Greg and the team, I cannot give enough credit to the excellent product that they have put together."

Isaac - 24H Barcelona Motorsport Photography Holiday 2024

  • "I booked it, loved it and kept working on being a motorsport photographer! Worth the time and money if you love cars like I do. Greg, the owner - extremely nice guy and extremely passionate about his business. He was very detailed oriented and kept making sure I was doing good during the whole trip. He honestly was more of a friend than the owner of the business to us."

Tak - 24H Dubai Motorsport Photography Holiday 2025

  • "I attended the British GT holiday at Brands Hatch and had a brilliant time. The Photographic Adventure Company (TPAC) managed the event brilliantly and saw to it that all the guests could maximise their experience. The photographic instruction was excellent and I was able to learn loads with two days access to a professional motorsport photographer. It's difficult to quantify these things sometimes, but the holiday was definitely worth the price. I had a great time."

Chris - British GT Motorsport Photography Holiday 2024

  • "Absolutely amazing trip, enjoyed every second. Greg and Mike were fantastic, and the other guys in the group were friendly and knowledgeable. I cant recommend going on a tour highly enough. Trust in these kinds of services is paramount and Greg and the team pulled out all the stops. Don't think about it, just book it."

Chris - 24H Barcelona Motorsport Photography Holiday 2024

  • "Having only been to a live motorsport race once and this being the first time trying to capture some images, going with The Photographic Adventure Company was the best decision! As everything from the communication before, during and after were great from Greg and Dan. The British GT weekend working with Dan was just amazing his knowledge and encouragement was just what i needed, as its easy to try and capture the same type of images as everyone else but Dan was a great help on suggesting classic motorsport shots but also making sure you as a photographer put your own style and trust your eye to capture what you see. I'll be definitely looking to do more in the future!"
