Why Investing In Personal Development & Learning Matters?
Your brain didn’t come with a lifetime warranty. In today’s world, staying still means falling behind, and personal development is the key to keeping you sharp, adaptable, and ahead of the curve. Investing in learning isn’t just about adding more acronyms to your résumé—it’s about unlocking fresh ideas, building confidence, and turning challenges into opportunities (instead of stress headaches). The sooner you start, the bigger the payoff. And unlike that treadmill in your garage, this is one investment you’ll actually use.
In motorsport, the cars aren’t the only things moving fast - the opportunities are, too. Investing in your photography skills through a dedicated workshop means you’re not just snapping pictures, you’re capturing split-second stories that will help you grow and set you apart from the competition. You’ll learn techniques you can’t get from YouTube tutorials, gain insider tips from pros who have ‘been there, done that’ and build confidence to go from strength to strength in the highly competitive world of motorsport photography.
In short: upgrade yourself, because standing still is the fastest way to get left behind.
Immerse Yourself in the Professional World of 24H Endurance Motorsport Photography
Start your engines (and pack your memory cards), because this isn’t some polite little “aim, click, and hope” photo trip. This is the 24H Barcelona and we’re inviting you to the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in September 2026 for a motorsport photography workshop with full media accreditation that puts you inside the action, not peering through chain-link fences like a sad paparazzo with a telephoto lens.
Forget obscured, predictable snaps from the grandstands. Over the course of this workshop, you’ll be trackside and in the pit lane, like you’ve just been hired by the team principal. Engines roaring, brakes glowing, mechanics scrambling, drivers sweating - you’ll capture it all, from vantage points most aspiring motorsport photographers can only dream of.
And don’t worry, we’re not just throwing you into the deep end and hoping for the best. Under the wing of a pro motorsport photographer, you’ll sharpen your timing, perfect your panning, and turn raw horsepower into jaw-dropping imagery that makes people stop mid-scroll and mutter, “No way you shot that.”
By the time the chequered flag waves, you won’t just have photos - you’ll have evidence that you stood in the beating heart of endurance racing and nailed it. Ready to trade the fence for the fast lane? Apply today - the grid’s forming, and your spot on it is waiting…
Your Road to Media Accreditation Starts Here…
-
Ready to start shooting like you belong trackside? This intensive, media-accredited motorsport photography workshop and training is here to flip the way you approach motorsport photography, providing you with the eyes (and access) of a fully media-accredited, professional photographer.
And about that shiny media pass - do you actually know how to use it properly? Where the pros stand to get those jaw-dropping, “how the hell did they shoot that?” shots? How track access changes when you’ve got credentials? Or how to avoid the red zones? What about navigating a live pit lane safely and with confidence?
This isn’t just about pressing the shutter at the right time. On this media-accredited workshop, you’ll learn the stuff that really matters: how to position yourself for killer angles, anticipate overtakes before they happen, and work the track layout like you’ve been covering races for years. With a professional motorsport photographer guiding you, you’ll squeeze every ounce out of your track time, media pass in hand to produce images that don’t just look good, but scream professional.
By the end, you won’t just understand what it takes to be an accredited motorsport photographer - you’ll have the skills, insider knowledge, and confidence to prove it.
So stop spending your weekends shooting from the sidelines and join our hands-on motorsport photography training that can advance your motorsport photography career, open doors to professional opportunities, and put you in control of capturing world-class shots.
-
Ditch being stuck behind the fence and learn exactly what it takes to shoot motorsport like a true professional, accredited motorsport photographer. This isn’t just a “hey, take a few pics” gig - you get a media pass and the chance to go trackside, alongside a leading motorsport photographer. This is the ultimate motorsport photography training.
On this exclusive workshop, full media accreditation puts you where the magic actually happens - zones usually reserved for seasoned journalists and photographers. You’ll be perfectly planted to capture the full 24H Barcelona race weekend alongside its support series in all their high-octane glory. By the end, you’ll walk away with a portfolio that doesn’t just look good, it screams “I belong here” - ready to kick your motorsport photography career into overdrive?
-

Forget cookie-cutter workshops; this is exclusive, personalised training designed around you.

We know you're busy, but we're not just going to throw you into the deep end in Spain. This workshop starts with a pre-trip online session. Consider this your warm-up lap before the main event.
And we don't just abandon you once the checkered flag waves. After the trip, we'll have a post-workshop editing and review session. This is where we make sure you get the most out of your shots, giving you more feedback and showing you how to turn those raw files into something truly spectacular.
Media Accreditation
Apply today to step into the world of professional motorsport photography with a coveted all-access media pass, provided exclusively for this workshop. This unparalleled opportunity offers you a perspective usually reserved for industry insiders.
With your media pass, you’ll enjoy:
Pit Lane Access: Get up close to the cars, teams, and drivers, capturing the intensity of pit stops and the full drama of the race weekend.
Press Room Privileges: Work from the press room / media centre, where you’ll have a dedicated space to review your shots and soak up the energy of the professional media environment.
Designated Trackside Areas: Take advantage of prime locations around the circuit, giving you unparalleled opportunities to shoot the action from a unique and privileged perspective.
Your journey begins with comprehensive preparation. During your first photography session you’ll receive 1-2-1 training on pit lane safety protocols and the critical do’s and don’ts of working trackside. Learn the requirements and etiquette that ensure not only your safety but also your professionalism as you navigate the exhilarating environment of working as accredited media.
-
To attend this motorsport photography workshop, you will require public liability insurance with a minimum coverage of £5 million. This ensures your safety and compliance with trackside regulations.
If you have any questions or need assistance arranging the appropriate coverage, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with our team. We’re here to guide you through the process and provide you with all the details you need.
Motorsport Photography Coaching
Strap in and get ready to turbocharge your motorsport photography with Mike Widdowson (MJW Media) for company.
You’ll wrestle with dynamic composition, master unpredictable lighting and dial in your camera settings so sharp your gear might actually blush. Motion blur? Panning perfection? Consider them added to your toolbox, with professional photography coaching every step of the way, helping you to nail the timing, precision, and framing that separates amateurs from accredited pros.
But the real magic happens when the sun goes down. Night racing is motorsport at its most cinematic: glowing brake discs, sparks flying, headlights carving through the dark, and pit crews moving and dancing under the bright lights of the pit lane. You’ll learn how to adapt your shooting to the shifting light, master long exposures, light trails and create images that capture the surreal, real and genuine intensity of racing after dark.
And there’s more: you’ll learn about reading a track layout like a treasure map, predicting the corners where the magic (and chaos) happens, and planting yourself in the sweet spots that make your shots scream speed, grit, and glory.
When the chequered flag drops, it’s not over. You’ll swap pit lane for media centre, diving into editing sessions that transform your raw images - both daylight and night-time - into portfolio-grade jaw-droppers.
This isn’t just a workshop. It’s your all-access pass to the high-octane world of motorsport photography, giving you the portfolio, confidence, and insider savvy knowledge to fast-track your career, and maybe even your credentials.
