Capture the drama of Europe’s best GT racing at one of the UK’s most iconic circuits.
Join us at Brands Hatch for a motorsport photography workshop that’s anything but boring. Set against the high-octane chaos of the GT World Challenge Europe race weekend, this is your chance to shoot some of the fastest, most precise racing in Europe.
Nestled in the Kent countryside, Brands Hatch is famous for its awesome layout and ridiculously close spectator access, meaning every dramatic elevation change and hairpin turn is fair game for jaw-dropping shots. From Paddock Hill’s swoops to Druids and Clearways’ technical challenges, every corner practically dares you to get creative.
With personalised coaching from a pro motorsport photographer, you’ll learn to capture speed, energy, and precision like you didn’t realise was possible. Whether your goal is to sharpen your technique or build a portfolio that won’t make people roll their eyes, this workshop pairs expert tuition with heart-racing motorsport action - all at one of Britain’s most iconic circuits.
-
Stop wandering the track like it’s a tourist attraction - it’s time to take your motorsport photography seriously. This motorsport photography workshop will teach you how to approach the racing, and more importantly, the circuit, with a trained eye.
We’ll show you exactly where to stand, how to anticipate key braking and acceleration zones, spot overtaking opportunities, and find the corners with the best light at every hour. With expert guidance, you’ll maximise your track time and consistently capture dynamic, high-impact images.
-
Benefit from bespoke and personalised photography tuition from a professional motorsport photographer.
This workshop is your opportunity to enhance your motorsport photography skills with personalised and bespoke photography tuition and coaching. You'll learn essential techniques like composition, framing, and focusing to capture dynamic, high-speed action with precision and style. With hands-on guidance in a small group setting, you'll develop a creative eye and gain confidence in shooting the fast-paced world of motorsport.
-
Benefit from relaxed, in-depth editing sessions designed to improve your post-processing skills. You'll be guided through every step of a professional motorsport photography workflow - from organising and selecting your best shots, to mastering editing techniques in Adobe Lightroom and beyond. Learn how to bring out the drama, detail, and colour in your images with professional guidance on exposure correction, contrast control, cropping, colour grading, and sharpening. These sessions are informal, interactive, and tailored to your experience level, ensuring you leave with both the technical know-how and creative confidence to produce striking, portfolio worthy images.
-
Your workshop includes a pre-departure online session where you can showcase your portfolio and receive valuable tips before heading to Brands Hatch.
After the workshop, join a post-trip editing and review session to receive further feedback and guidance.
Motorsport Photography Tuition
Guided by an experienced professional motorsport photographer, you’ll go beyond “point-and-shoot” and learn how to anticipate the action, frame the drama, and turn fleeting moments into striking, high-speed imagery.
Throughout the workshop, you’ll explore the art of composition under challenging lighting (it’s the UK after all), experiment with motion blur and panning, and discover focusing techniques that actually work when the cars are moving faster than your heart rate. You’ll also get hands-on guidance in post-processing, from colour grading and lightroom tweaks to refining details that make your images pop.
Evenings aren’t just for resting your camera arm - they’re for immersive editing sessions where you’ll polish your work, hone your workflow, and leave with a portfolio that’s more “professional storyteller” than “accidental snapshot collector.”
Plus, the experience begins before you even set foot on track with a pre-trip online briefing, and continues afterwards with a post-trip image review - because in motorsport photography, the real story happens both behind the lens trackside and on the screen.
